About the Centre
font view The outside of the Centre belies its content and purpose.  This  facility, unique in the UK, was built to accommodate all levels of indoor shooting with air guns  & crossbows, from beginners and casual shooters through to elite.

Located at Aldersley Leisure Village, Wolverhampton, it is the home to club shooters, regional -, and national squads.   Many organisations with links to target shooting regularly use the centre.  

The centre is owned and managed by the National Smallbore Rifle Association, based in Bisley, Surrey.  There is a plan to expand shooting facilities on the site, which include re-opening the 100m outdoor smallbore range and a new 25m indoor range .   See News for latest information. 

 

The Centre offers facilities for shooting at 10m, 6 yd, and up to 25m with 0.177 calibre (4.5mm) air rifles and pistols. 

There are 40 firing points for 10m shooting with target changers and 6 with turning targets.  Additional equipment is availble for training, coaching, and competition needs. 

Special equipment is available for visually impaired shooters 

 

 

The centre's shop provides shooting supplies and refreshments.  A meeting/class room and full toilet facilities are available.

For casual customers and beginners equipment is available for hire,  and instruction is available from qualified staff.

Events, such as competitions, leagues, and instruction can be arranged for any group of users.
